Lionel Messi India Tour 2025: Argentina legendary player Leonal Messi is coming to India this December. His visit will start in Kolkata from December 12 and will end in New Delhi on 15 December via Ahmedabad, Mumbai, where Messi will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This journey has been named ‘Goat Tour of India 2025’, in which the unique confluence of football, culture and fan engagement will be seen.

This will be Messi’s first visit to India after 2011, when he played a friendly match against Venezuela at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. This time Messi’s visit to India will be focused on not only sports but also cultural interaction and inspiration to young players.

Kolkata will have a grand start

Messi’s Kolkata program will be very special. This includes ‘Meat and Greet’, Argentine Mete and Assam Tea Food and Tea Festival, as well as the unveiling of Messi statue. Fans will get a chance to make a huge mural picture (mural) during Durga Puja, which Messi himself will unveil at Salt Lake Stadium.

Apart from this, ‘Goat Concert’ and ‘Goat Cup’ will be held at the Eden Gardens or Salt Lake Stadium, in which seven-member soft-touch football matches will be played. In this, stars like Sourav Ganguly, Leander Paes, John Abraham and Baichung Bhutia will be seen with Messi. The starting price of the ticket has been fixed at Rs 3,500. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will also honor Messi.

Dhal in Ahmedabad and Mumbai

On December 13, Messi will reach Ahmedabad, where Adani Foundation will organize a private program. On December 14, ‘Meat and Greet’, Goat Concert and Goat Cup will be held at Wankhede Stadium in CCI Brabourne in Mumbai. During this time Messi will also play a paddle match, which will include stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Leander Paes.

Closing in Delhi and meeting with Prime Minister

On December 15, Messi will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. After this, Feroz Shah Kotla will have the last Goat Concert and Goat Cup. Delhi District Cricket Association has also invited Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill to this program. Shubman Gill is considered a big fan of Messi.
