The ugly clash happened in the DPL 2025, The players, South Delhi Superstarz and West Delhi Lions, got into a brawl in the eliminator match.

During the important Eliminator match of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 between West Delhi Lions and South Delhi Superstarz. The West Delhi Lions won the match by seven wickets, after the skipper of the team, Nitish Rana, scored a brilliant century while chasing the big score of 202 runs and taking the team to Qualifier 2.


However, an ugly scene took place in the match. The two players from both the teams, Krish Yadav and one South Delhi players, got into a heated argument in the 11th over of West Delhi’s chase. When Krish smashed a great towards the long-off against Aman Bharti.


However, the shot couldn’t cover a good distance and was caught by Anmol Sharma and was dismissed. When Krish was making his way back to the dugout, Aman gave him a death stare and some words exchanged between both the players.


Krish Yadav also reacted to Aman’s words by charging towards him and exchanging heated words. Things quickly escalated when South Delhi player Sumit Mathur joined in, turning it into a brawl-like situation. To calm things down, captain Nitish Rana and the lady umpire had to step in and intervene.



However, the star player Nitish Rana put his hand around Sumit’s shoulder and took him away and calmed the situation. On the other hand, the lady umpire asked Krish to return to the dugout to continue the rest of the match.


While chasing 202 runs, West Delhi Lions lost two quick wickets in the powerplay. But captain Nitish Rana stepped up and partnered with Krish Yadav to stabilize the innings. Together, they built an important 97-run partnership for the third wicket, which shifted the momentum strongly in their favor.


Krish Yadav scored a quick 31 runs from 22 balls before getting out to Aman Bharti. After that, captain Nitish Rana continued confidently and played freely. He used both timing and power to keep the chase steady. His brilliant century, filled with boundaries and smart attacking shots, was the key to the Lions’ successful run chase.


However, South Delhi Superstarz batted first and scored a strong total of 201/5 in 20 overs. Their openers, Anmol Sharma and Ankur Kaushik, started well with a 67-run partnership. However, after that, the team suffered a small collapse and quickly slipped to 78/3.
