With the aim of strengthening the values ​​of social harmony, equality and environmental protection in the society, large scale plantation programs were organized by the Forest Department, Ambedkar Nagar in coordination with the Social Welfare and Rural Development Department in various Ambedkar parks of the district. In this sequence, the main program of establishment of “Samaras Van” was organized in Ambedkar Park located in village Patauna of Katehari Development Block, which was inaugurated by the Minister in-charge of State Government, Ambedkar Nagar Om Prakash Rajbhar by planting saplings.

In the program, MLA Katehari Dr. Dharmaraj Nishad, Jagdambika Prasad, Divisional Forest Officer, Ambedkar Nagar Forest Division, Jyotsna Bandhu, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), Savita Singh District Development Officer, Upendra Pandey District Panchayat Raj Officer, Jagannath Choudhary Block Development Officer Katehari, Arif Mehndi, Additional Program Officer, District Social Welfare Officer and prominent citizens participated and planted saplings. Gave the message of social unity and environmental protection. A special campaign was conducted for the establishment of “Samaras Van” in all the Ambedkar parks of the district. Under this, about ten thousand saplings were planted and ‘Samaras Van’ was established.
