Petrol Diesel Price Today 6 August 2026: As usual, state-owned oil marketing companies have released new petrol and diesel prices for Thursday (August 6, 2026). Petrol and diesel prices remain unchanged in most cities across the country, including Delhi and Mumbai, while some cities have seen slight changes due to local taxes and freight charges. So, if you’re planning to fill up your vehicle with petrol or diesel on Thursday, be sure to check the latest rates for your city first.  

According to rates released by oil marketing companies, petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged in the national capital, Delhi, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Hyderabad. In Noida and Ghaziabad, adjacent to Delhi, petrol and diesel prices rose by 23 paise and 19 paise. Meanwhile, petrol and diesel prices fell by 10 paise in Chennai, 30 paise each in Lucknow, and 75 paise and 71 paise in Patna.

• In Delhi, petrol is available at Rs 102.12 and diesel at Rs 95.20 per liter.


• In Lucknow, petrol is Rs 101.56 and diesel is Rs 95.06 per liter.


• In Chandigarh, petrol is available at Rs 101.54 and diesel at Rs 89.47 per liter.


• In Jaipur, petrol is being sold at Rs 113.97 and diesel at Rs 98.96 per liter.


• In Patna, petrol is available at Rs 113.92 and diesel at Rs 99.90 per liter.


• In Gurugram, petrol is available at Rs 102.97 and diesel at Rs 95.64 per liter.


• In Noida, petrol is Rs 102.12 and diesel is Rs 95.56 per liter.


• In Kolkata, petrol is Rs 113.51 and diesel is Rs 99.82 per liter.


• In Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 111.21 and diesel at Rs 97.83 per liter.


• In Chennai, petrol is Rs 107.77 and diesel is Rs 99.55 per liter.


• In Bengaluru, petrol is available at Rs 111.68 and diesel at Rs 99.56 per liter.


• Petrol in Bhubaneswar is Rs 108.97 and diesel is Rs 100.68 per liter.


• In Hyderabad, petrol is Rs 115.73 and diesel is Rs 103.82 per liter.
