Box Office Performance of Jaat vs. Good Bad Ugly: On April 10, 2025, Sunny Deol’s film Jaat and Ajith Kumar’s Tamil film Good Bad Ugly were shown on theater screens.
On the second Sunday at the box office, Jaat performed better. The Hindi action film starring Randeep Hooda, which had been steadily declining daily, saw an increase during the Easter weekend. The raise follows Sunny Deol’s announcement of Jaat 2.
Jaat has already made a total of Rs 74.55 crore, according to Sacnilk, an industry tracker. On day 11, the total occupancy rate of the massy action film among its Hindi audience was 22.72%. On the second Sunday, the cities with the greatest occupancy rates are still Ahmedabad, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Jaipur.

Jaat is approaching the Rs 100 crore mark. But if the trend keeps up, it may take another week or so to hit the desired milestone.
A disagreement regarding Jaat’s lack of religious sensitivity led to uproar. For those who do not know, Jalandhar police formally complained on Wednesday about a scene that they said offended Christian sensibilities under Section 299 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The authors swiftly expressed regret and took down the contentious section in response, demonstrating that they had no intention of upsetting anyone’s religious beliefs.

Ajith Kumar portrays Mumbai-based gangster AK, well known as “The Red Dragon,” who shocked everyone in 2007 by voluntarily handing himself in to the police. He is resolved to put his blood-stained past behind him and hopes to live a tranquil life with his wife, Ramya, and their child, Vihaan. After serving 18 years in jail, AK is eventually released with the hope of starting over and finally seeing his family again, who are now living in Spain.
