The list of cricket players chosen for central contracts for the 2024–2025 season has been made public by the BCCI.

The only players chosen in the Grade A+ group are Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma. This is a second opportunity for Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan, who were excluded from the 2023–24 central contracts for disciplinary grounds.

Ishan Kishan is in Grade C, while Shreyas Iyer is in Grade B. Notably, Grade A includes Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Shami, and Rishabh Pant. In Grade C, a number of young Team India players have been given chances.

Details of Salary:

Players in grade A+ will get ₹7 crore annually.

₹5 crore will be given to grade A players.

Players in grade B will get ₹3 crore.

Players in grade C will get ₹1 crore.

A player must participate in at least three Test matches, eight ODIs, and ten T20Is in a calendar year in order to be eligible for a central contract.
