A formal complaint has been lodged by Dr. Daniel Raja, the Chief Medical Officer of Myopathy Hospital, regarding false rumors being spread online about the health of actor and former Union Minister Napoleon’s elder son, Dhanoosh. The complaint was submitted to the Superintendent of Police in Tirunelveli, urging swift and strict action against those responsible for the misinformation.

According to News 18, Dr. Daniel stated that their hospital operates under the Jeevan Foundation , founded by Napoleon. He expressed serious concern over the ongoing online speculation about Dhanoosh’s health and personal life, calling the reports completely baseless and misleading. These false claims, he added, have caused significant mental distress not only to Napoleon and his family but also to staff and associates working under the foundation’s banner. He emphasized that such rumors, when left unchecked, can erode trust and damage reputations built over years of service and commitment.
Doctor requests removal of defamatory content from social media
The doctor appealed to authorities to take immediate legal action against individuals who are responsible for fabricating and circulating these rumors. He also called for urgent steps to remove defamatory content from websites, YouTube channels, and social media platforms. Dr. Daniel highlighted that spreading unverified and false information is not only irresponsible but also deeply harmful, especially when it targets a family’s private life without evidence or concern for the emotional consequences.

Clarifying the situation, Dr. Daniel confirmed that Dhanoosh Napoleon and his wife Akshaya are both in good health and living happily together abroad. In support of the complaint, a relative named Kirubakaran also filed a petition with the Nellai district police, demanding the takedown of defamatory content targeting Dhanoosh. The family has urged the public to refrain from spreading fake news and to show empathy and respect during such sensitive times.
