While everyone dreams about winning the , previous winner Adrian Bayford's life has taken many twists and turns after cashing in on the . The former postie won a staggering £148 million, but while he splashed out on a brand new pad thanks to his windfall, the quickly became full of 'bad' memories.

The 54-year-old won the Lotto in 2012 with his wife Gillian, but the pair split 15 months after the huge win. He now lives in the seven-bedroom home with his fourth fiancée, Tracey Biles. However the are reportedly set to move out and in with Adrian's 80-year-old mother instead.

Adrian and Tracey will move into his mother's nearby four-bed cottage, which the father-of-two bought for his parents. Talking about the decision to move out, a close friend said, "He thinks he can just downsize and have a simple life and go back to how things used to be before he was mega-rich," as reported by .

The formerly married couple bought a Grade II listed estate in Cambridgeshire, complete with a cinema and a billiards room, but had split because of the stress of the win it brought them. Ex Gillian said the money had come between her and her family.

Speaking to The Sun in 2016, she said: “It's upsetting and raw. The money was supposed to make everybody happy. But it's made them demanding and greedy. [My family] have lost touch with where they've come from.”

Following their separation, Adrian's personal life has been marked by a series of engagements. "The house he is leaving is one he bought with his ex Gillian and where he split from his other fiancées so it's full of bad memories for him. He loves Tracey. He loves his mum, so it makes sense for them to all move in together," the friend continued.

It's believed the winner has been struggling to sell the impressive £12.3m home that sits on the outskirts of Cambridge. Adrian had planted a vineyard, opened an Airbnb and staged rock festivals there, and had even moved Tracey's parents into the estate at one point.

He proposed to ambulance worker Tracey last . But before Tracey, he was previously linked to several women, including stable girl Sam Burbidge, who he was set to marry before they split in 2017. After divorcing Gillian in 2013, he then failed to woo ex-sausage factory worker Marta Jarosz - but fell for stable girl Sam Burbidge. However Sam left him in 2017, and took 30 prize horses with her that Adrian had bought.

Just last month Adrian withdrew his plans to build a children's theme park on 20 acres of his sprawling country estate, with initial drawings showing a 'leisure destination' that included education facilities, a train ride, a renewable energy-themed play barn and maze.

The idea would feature pond dipping opportunities and water play as well as rest areas and a maze made from willow, bamboo, beach, hay and straw bales. They were also planning on building an education centre, set to teach children about sustainability through play with rope swings, and a replica mini biomass boiler.

It was believed the project was being led by Tracey, with the full support of Adrian, but their big plans were hugely slammed by critics, as well as a 'horrified' parish council - who said it would cause a risk of flooding, drive additional traffic to the area and cause a detrimental effect on the nearby walled garden.
