MobLand viewers are still lost for words after watching the most recent episode. The latest instalment of Guy Ritchie's crime series dropped on on Sunday and was no doubt the most pivotal one yet. The episode kicked off with Harry Da Souza, played by , and the rest of the Harrigans debating whether to attend Tommy Stevenson's (Felix Edwards) funeral. Fans will know that Tommy was brutally murdered by Eddie Harrigan (Anson Boon), the grandson of patriarch and matriarch Conrad (Pierce Brosnan) and Maeve Harrigan (Helen Mirren).
The family were invited to the funeral and wake by Tommy's father Richie Stevenson (Geoff Ball), who is also the head of a rival London crime family. Believing the funeral to be some sort of trap, Harry blackmailed a man who was sleeping with Richie's wife, Vron (Annie Cooper), to hide a number of weapons inside Stevenson manor, where the wake was being held.
Tensions rose at Tommy's funeral, with Vron hitting breaking point as Eddie attempted to kiss her on the cheek while apologising for her loss. At the wake, Maeve attempted to twist the knife deeper as she approached Vron, falsely saying how sorry she was for the loss of her son.
Looking Maeve up and down, a furious Vron bit back: "How does Conrad f**k that?" Filled with rage, Maeve stormed off, but was knocked out after drinking a glass of champagne laced with Rohypnol.
Meanwhile, it became known that Richie is aware that Eddie killed Tommy, not Valjon (Peter Ferdinando). Despite this, Richie told Conrad he does not want war and business can continue as usual, but on one condition - that Eddie is "fair game" if Richie ever sees him out in public.
Conrad reluctantly agreed and it looked as though the two families had avoided a war. But Maeve had other ideas and made a call to Paul (Emmett J. Scanlan).
The following day, Vron asked Richie if he wanted anything from the shop before she left their home. But as she got in her car, the vehicle exploded, killing Vron and officially marking the beginning of the war.
Fans have been going wild over the nail-biting ending, with one declaring: "Cor blimey... the ending of latest Mobland."

A third added: "Mobland is the best thing I've seen on TV in a while! Guy Ritchie has a way of outdoing himself."
