Rohit Basfore, an actor who was going to appear in Family Man 3, was tragically found dead near the Garbhanga waterfall in Guwahati, Assam.
The news has shocked fans and the local entertainment industry alike. According to preliminary police reports, authorities suspect foul play in the incident, and an investigation has been launched to uncover the circumstances surrounding his untimely death.
According to police sources, Rohit Basfore had gone for a picnic with nine of his colleagues when the tragic incident occurred.
Officials from the Rani Police Outpost confirmed that the incident took place at approximately 2 PM, when Rohit reportedly slipped and fell into the Garbhanga waterfall.

Police officials told Guwahati Plus, “We received the report around 4 PM and reached the spot by 4.30 pm. The SDRF team later recovered the body around 6.30 pm.”
Interestingly, Rohit was an avid traveller and he had posted multiple pictures near the beach or water bodies.
A few days ago, Rohit published some pictures from the set of Family Man 3 and wrote, "On the sets of Family Man 3. It was a great experience and I always loved to learn new things”.

Though official confirmation is still awaited, Rohit Basfore’s family has remained silent on the heartbreaking incident so far.
