Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The cast of Raid 2 including the crew were participants in the bell ringing event that took place in NSE (National Stock Exchange) situated in Mumbai on Akshaya Tritiya a holy event symbolizing wealth and new beginnings on April 30, 2025. This auspicious event also celebrates the growth of a venture participating in the stock exchange.

Producers of the film Kumar Mangat Pathak and Bhushan Kumar, along with its director Raj Kumar Gupta and lead actor Ajay Devgn participated in the event where Ashish Chauhan Managing Director and CEO of NSE welcomed them praising their work over the film celebrating its cultural significance both the brand and cinematically.

The successor to the famed Raid 2018 “Raid 2” will be released on March 29th, 2024 on OTT platforms. It deals with broad areas of corruption, power drama, and justice. The movie also portrays Amay Patnaik played by Ajay Devgn who resumes his role of an income tax officer in the film, now facing yet another threat in the form of a politically power hungry ruthless villain Dadabhai portrayed by Riteish Deshmukh.

Amay Patnaik is his role and is one of his main charatcters. Deshmukh is riding the wave as a cynical dark sculpting the baddie role he is to play on in the film steering clear from what the rest of the world knows him as.

The film feature Patnaik’s fiercest battles with the starkest hint of grapple required around the character revealed in the trailer indicating there is sense of bumpes along the way in between the two preparing for a shocking collision hinting on a sharp focus of the plot entirely. It also marks as the strongest performance ever delivered on portrayal of principal violence.

The premise of the first Raid focuses on the dramatization of an actual Income Tax raid in the 1980s. Additionally, Raj Kumar Gupta’s directed Raid 2 continues the franchise with a new plot and a higher level of antagonistic forces.

The film which has already seen many release date postponements last year is set to be in theatres on May 1, 2025, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar.
