A glimpse into Max Beesley's life Musical careerBefore he found his calling in front of the camera, Beesley nurtured his love for music, serving as a chorister at Manchester Cathedral and honed his skills at Chetham's School of Music.
He later attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he crossed paths with the likes of Ewan McGregor and Daniel Craig, but continued to juggle his passion for music alongside acting.
During his musical journey, Beesley worked as a session musician and keyboardist, sharing the stage with Take That, George Michael, Jamiroquai, and even drumming for Stevie Wonder.
Among the notable names that Beesley collaborated with during his music career was Robbie Williams, playing the keyboard in Robbie Williams' live concert video at Knebworth.
In addition to his acting career, Beesley showcased his musical talents by playing percussion at Williams' concert in Hyde Park on July 2, 2005, just days before the London bombings.
Interestingly, Beesley and Williams' connection predates their rise to fame, as they have known each other since Beesley was 14 and Williams was 11 years old.
Their friendship deepened in the early 2000s when Beesley moved in with Williams in Los Angeles.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Beesley recounted: "I bumped into Rob in a shop in a classic car sales room."
"I moved in with him for a couple of years, and we went on the road, touring."
AlcoholismDespite his thriving career, Beesley has faced his own struggles, including a battle with alcoholism.
The turning point came with the birth of his daughter, which prompted him to stop drinking.
Beesley candidly discussed his experiences with The Telegraph: "Alcoholism is an incredibly quick, progressive disease that if you've not got your eyes on it, you can get in trouble very quickly.
"You know, it's Christmas, have a drink. It's a nice day, let's have a drink. It's a very serious drug I don't like anything controlling me."
Beesley has had a few notable romantic relationships, including a three-year romance with former Spice Girls star Melanie Brown. This began as her marriage to dancer Jimmy Gulzar was coming to an end.
In an interview with the Evening Standard, Beesley reflected on their tumultuous relationship: "It made the front pages wherever we went.
"It wasn't a particularly nice situation to be in and, as far as I could see, it had no benefits and plenty of disadvantages.
"It damaged my career 100 percent. I was getting painted with the same celebrity brush as her, and nobody was paying any attention to my work, which was really unfortunate. Everything slowed right down."
Beesley subsequently romanced a string of high-profile celebrities such as Dannii Minogue, Melanie Sykes, Jodie Marsh, and Mica Paris.
The actor also had a four-year relationship with Footballers' Wives actress Susie Amy, before marrying his wife, dancer Jennifer, in 2000, with whom he later welcomed their daughter Sabrina.
His IMDb profile suggests that Beesley is lined up for a role in the forthcoming Jack Ryan film alongside stars John Krasinski and Wendell Pierce.
Despite the Prime Video action drama wrapping up after four seasons, with its final episode airing in 2023, this new untitled movie currently in the early stages of development is set to stream on Prime Video.
It boasts an impressive cast including Sienna Miller, Michael Kelly, Betty Gabriel, and Douglas Hodge, among others.
