Lamborghini India has officially launched the Temerario, a next-generation plug-in hybrid supercar, priced from ₹6 crore (ex-showroom). Replacing the iconic Huracan, this new model was first unveiled globally in August last year and has now entered the Indian market eight months later.
Marking a new chapter for the brand, the Temerario is not just another supercar—it’s Lamborghini’s bold step into the electrified future. The plug-in hybrid (PHEV) configuration makes it both a performance marvel and a symbol of sustainable engineering.
At the heart of the Lamborghini Temerario lies a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors. The V8 engine alone delivers 789 bhp and 730 Nm of torque. When combined with the electric motors, the total output reaches a staggering 907 bhp and 2,150 Nm of torque.
The hybrid system features a 3.8 kWh battery, which supports regenerative braking and can be fully charged in 30 minutes using a 7 kW AC charger. The Temerario boasts a top speed of 343 kmph and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, making it one of the fastest hybrid supercars in the world.Aggressive Design with Shark-Nose Front and Fighter Jet Cockpit
Design-wise, the Temerario embraces Lamborghini’s signature aggression. It features a shark-nose front, a sharp lower lip spoiler, hexagonal LED DRLs, and centrally-mounted exhausts at the rear. The aerodynamics are enhanced with 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, and a redesigned aluminium spaceframe chassis, 24% stronger than the Huracan’s.
Inside, the fighter jet-inspired cockpit resembles the Revuelto. It houses a 12.3-inch digital driver display, an 8.4-inch vertical infotainment system, and a 9.1-inch co-driver display. Features include ventilated, heated, and electrically adjustable seats, and a multi-function steering wheel.
With 13 driving modes, including Citta, Strada, Sport, Corsa, and hybrid-specific modes like Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance, the Temerario delivers a customizable and immersive driving experience.
