Solapur: This year, teachers did not have enough time to examine the answer sheets of examinations and prepare the final result. Therefore, an experiment was used to use AI to examine answer sheets. The results of this experiment on the small group have been encouraging. This will help in making this AI model more competent, this belief was expressed by Ranjitsinh Disleys.
A research project to declare the final result was recently completed by examining the annual examination of 225 students of 12 Zilla Parishad schools of Solapur district with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI). In this experiment, the answer sheets of 225 students were tested in both the teachers and AI methods of the concerned class. In the answer sheets tested through AI, 12 percent of the students' marks were changed. These changes were found to be accurate and accurate in accordance with the investigation conducted by the teachers concerned.
Global Teacher Award winning teacher Ranjitsinh Dislie has prepared with the help of AI model Google Jemini, 'Hack the Classroom' to check the question papers of students of Solapur Zilla Parishad schools. This model has been developed for the purpose of preparing and examining question papers in Marathi language. Innovation lab of Harvard University has received special support for this work.
The primary test of this AI model was conducted in the period from 25 to 30 April. It took teachers an average of 1 minute 42 seconds to check an answer book of about 20 points, while it took 5 minutes 27 seconds to check the 50 -digit answer book. The accuracy of the answer sheets checked by AI was recorded at 95 percent. At the same time, the AI model failed to identify the handwriting of 5 percent of the students. While examining the answer books, it was also found that 2 percent of the questions were wrong, which AI recognized. This AI model has also prepared a six -week learning plan for skill to increase skills to the concerned students on the basis of the marks received after checking the answer books, which will be implemented between May 1 and June 10, Disle said. For this reason, now other schools of the state are also seeing curiosity about the use of this method.
