Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, the deputy chief minister, has called for improved medical care for people visiting government hospitals. He examined the district government’s main hospital on Thursday with the help of Health Minister C. Damodar Rajanarasimha, Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, Health Principal Secretary Christina, District Collector Muzammil Khan, and Police Commissioner Sunil Dutt.
The crew saw the district government hospital’s laboratory, assistance desk, old age clinic, ICU unit, pharmacy department, female ward, and reception area. They asked the patients about the hospital’s medical services, including if they were giving complete medications and whether they were writing prescriptions for private consumers.
Additionally, the ministers examined the quality of the hospital’s food service. They also asked how long it took to provide the findings of the tests that were being performed at the labs. The medical and health department’s outsourced employees sent a message to the department’s authorities asking them to take action to regularize their services and guarantee that their wages were paid on time.
