The new date of the CA exam, postponed amid Indo-Pak tension, has been released. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India postponed the CA exam 2025 on Saturday, given the security situation in the country. According to the new date, ICAI has also released the revised schedule of Chartered Accountants, i.e., CA Final, Intermediate, and INTT-AT (PQC) examination May 2025. ICAI has said that CA examinations will now be conducted from May 16 to May 24.

ICAI also informed that the rescheduled examinations will be conducted at the same examination centers and at the same time as the earlier schedule was released, i.e., the examinations will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm or 2 pm to 6 pm. According to ICAI, the admit cards already issued will remain valid for the rescheduled dates.

From when to when will the examinations be held?

Earlier, the Chartered Accountants Foundation May-2025 examination was to be held on 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14 May, but now these exams will be held on 16, 18, 20, 22, and 24 May. The ICAI statement said, 'The Chartered Accountants Foundation May-2025 examination will be conducted as per the scheduled schedule, i.e. on 15, 17, 19, and 21 May 2025'.

The ICAI has also said, 'It should be emphasized that in case any day of the examination is declared a public holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / local holiday, there will be no change in the examination schedule. Candidates are advised to pay attention to these things and keep checking the institute's website www.icai.org for the latest updates.'

Where are the CA examinations held?

CA examinations are conducted in all the states of the country. Apart from this, this exam is also conducted outside India i.e., in foreign countries. This time, CA exams will be conducted from Kathmandu in Nepal to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Doha, Thimpu (Bhutan), Kuwait, Bahrain, and Muscat.
