TVF’s most recent series, Gram Chikitsalaya, is now accessible on streaming services. The program offers a distinctive viewpoint on the healthcare industry in rural areas. The play, which is set in the made-up town of Bhatkandi, uses humor and important social elements to illustrate the challenges faced by medical professionals as they try to assist patients. The crew apparently traveled to a secluded rural region of the nation to film the series, even if the village’s name is made up.

The whole series, including four days in Bemetara and one in Raipur, was reportedly filmed in Chhattisgarh over the course of 27 days, according to a Pinkvilla article. The crew reportedly filmed in Mumbai for only one day. Amol Parashar and Vinay Pathak play the main characters in Gram Chikitsalaya, which has a heartwarming narrative.

Dr. Prabhat, a skilled physician navigating the challenges of rural healthcare, is portrayed by Amol Parashar. Vinay Pathak plays the part of a self-styled physician who is trusted by every villager. Dr. Prabhat’s attempt to get everyone to come to the rural hospital is at the center of the story. When people stop believing in him and keep going to Vinay Pathak, the real difficulties start. It’s intriguing to see if and how the doctor wins the locals’ confidence.

“With Gram Chikitsalay, we bring to life a heartfelt and inspiring story that delves into the challenges and triumphs of rural healthcare, told through a lens that is both humorous and deeply relatable,” said Vijay Koshy, President of The Viral Fever (TVF), in addition to discussing the show’s central theme. The series’ core themes include fortitude, camaraderie, and the will to change in the face of adversity.

Garima Vikrant Singh, Akash Makhija, Anandeshwar Dwivedi, and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor all play important parts in the ensemble cast. Vaibhav Suman and Shreya Srivastava created the script, Deepak Kumar Mishra produced it, and Rahul Pandey directed the series.
