For the past two seasons, has decided to change the club crest on home and away kits. This season, the badge was shiny on the home kit and given an orange and black colour scheme on the away kit.
The year before that, the badge had a gold metallic effect to it while the away shirt's emblem was mainly white and black. However, football purests will be pleased to discover that the badge will look traditional on the home shirt, if the latest leaks are to be believed.

The home shirt has a blue and white badge for the first time since the 2022/23 season. Other than that, it is what you would expect from a first choice kit.
Predominantly blue with a slight white collar. The shirt also has a pattern in the background but it is not obvious on first glance if this pattern is a reference to the club in any way.
As for the away kit, the badge is a different colour scheme looking like black but it does look more traditional than recent years. As for the shirt itself, the main colour is described as off-white with thin parallel lines running down the centre.
These lines are in red and green which is believed to be a reference to the away kit of the 1974/75 season, according to . supporters will likely love the fact that a new hidden detail has been incorporated to the shirt.
On the inside collar, 'London' can be made out which is clearly a reference to their home city. Short colours for the new kits have yet to be confirmed.
What has also yet to be confirmed is which European competition Chelsea will wear the kit in. The Blues' push for the took a blow on Sunday as they lost 2-0 to Newcastle at St James' Park.
Fortunately, they kept hold of their position in the top five thanks to Nottingham Forest's draw against Leicester City. However, they are only above Aston Villa on goal difference heading into the last two matches of the regular season.
