Washington, [United States], Disney just revealed that “Captain America: Brave New World,” the most current installment from Marvel Studios, will launch exclusively on Disney+ on May 28.
According to Deadline, the eagerly awaited movie, which carries on Sam Wilson’s adventure as the new Captain America, had a successful theatrical run earlier this year and made over USD 415 million globally.
Anthony Mackie, who played Sam Wilson in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, returns in this new chapter, this time wearing the recognizable Captain America shield.
The movie tracks Wilson’s encounter with Harrison Ford’s character, freshly elected US President Thaddeus Ross.
Wilson finds himself in the center of a high-stakes international incident as this crucial meeting swiftly turns into a worldwide catastrophe.
In a race against time, he must uncover a dark conspiracy planned by an invisible genius while attempting to save the planet from collapsing.
Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, and Tim Blake Nelson are among the ensemble cast members of “Captain America: Brave New World,” which was directed by Julius Onah.
Louis D’Esposito and Charles Newirth are executive producers, while Kevin Feige and Nate Moore are the film’s producers.
When the movie debuted in theaters in February, it immediately attracted notice for its intense action scenes and nuanced emotional content.
With “Thunderbolts” as the next big release after “Brave New World,” “Captain America: Brave New World” furthers Marvel Studios’ dedication to telling interwoven storylines as part of the growing Marvel Universe.
‘Thunderbolts’ has already made over USD 273 million globally and is still showing in theaters, according to Deadline.
