There has been a major change in the convenience of taking tickets in the most used DTC buses after the metro in Delhi. The automatic fare collection system will now be used in DTC buses used daily for common citizens.

What will change for common people?

We are going to travel every day, we passengers will now be able to make UPI or card based payments within DTC buses and take their tickets. It is initially being implemented in Rajghat and Hasanpur and Kalkaji depots.

The entire system is being implemented by partnering with Canara Bank. With the introduction of the new system, there will no longer be a debate with the passengers traveling short distance, who are often with DTC bus operators and ticket cutters while demanding retail.

People will now be able to make small payments through UPI and will be able to travel with tickets.

Not only this, an amount of Rs 5 crore is also being divided to set up a charging station in Rajghat depot so that the operator of electric gram flour can be given a big speed in the whole of Delhi. Soon more electric buses in Delhi will be seen coming down on the roads, due to which people will be able to travel in buses equipped with better facilities in low fares.
