Nick Woltemade is reportedly in line for his first call-up to Germany’s senior national team.

Since joining VfB Stuttgart from Werder Bremen last summer, Nick Woltemade has established himself as a key figure in the squad.

Now, the 23-year-old is set to be rewarded for his impressive performances with a first-ever call-up to Germany’s senior national team, according to Bild.

Sky Germany also reports that the Stuttgart forward has caught the attention of head coach Julian Nagelsmann ahead of Germany’s UEFA Nations League Final Four tournament in June.

Meanwhile, Woltemade’s Stuttgart teammate Deniz Undav is reportedly not in contention for selection this time around.

Tim Kleindienst, who scored in both of Germany’s UEFA Nations League quarter-final games against Italy, is not available due to injury.
