AILET 2026: National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) has released the notification for All India Law Entrance Examination 2026 for admission to UG, PG, and PhD programs. With this, the registration process has also started yesterday, August 7. Interested candidates can apply for this exam through the official website nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

AILET 2025 Important Dates: Note all important dates in the calendar

According to the notification issued by NLU, Delhi, the last date to apply has been fixed as November 10, 2025. The exam will be conducted in a single shift on December 14, 2025, from 2 pm to 4 pm. Candidates interested in admission to 5-year integrated BA LLB and LLM courses at NLU Delhi can register for this exam.

If the number of candidates in an exam city is less than 100, then the exam center will not be set up in that city, and the candidate will be allotted an exam city as per their second/third choice.

AILET 2026 Seats: How many seats for which program
A total of 110+10 seats will be offered for admission to UG courses. 110 seats on AILET merit, 5-5 seats for direct admission on a merit basis for foreign nationals and OCI/PIO. Foreign nationals/OCIs/PIOs are exempted from ILET, but they must secure 65% marks in the qualifying exam.

A total of 70+10 seats are available for PG courses. 70 seats on ILET merit, 5-5 seats for foreign nationals and OCI/PIOs (for direct admission on a merit basis).

AILET 2026 Eligibility: Who can apply

For admission to UG courses, candidates who have passed the Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or equivalent examination with 45% marks (42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST) and are appearing for the annual examination of class 12 in 2025 are eligible to apply.

For admission to PG courses, candidates who have passed LLB or equivalent law graduate degree with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities) and appearing in the annual examination of final year of LLB in 2024 are eligible to apply.
