Netflix has shared the official trailer for Wednesday Season 2 Part 2, teasing what to expect from the remaining four episodes of the latest installment of the hit mystery comedy. The show is expected to make its return on September 3.

“Wednesday Addams returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await,” reads the official logline for Season 2. “This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends, and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem. Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery.”

Who is in the Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 trailer?

The video provides fans with a glimpse of the final four episodes of Season 2, revealing that Game of Thrones alum Gwendoline Christie will officially be reprising her role as Larissa Weems.

However, after the Nevermore principal was killed during Season 1, Larissa is now coming back as Wednesday’s new spirit guide. The trailer also highlights Wednesday’s desperate efforts to save Enid and her family from a vengeful Tyler after he escaped from Willow Hill.

Wednesday is executive-produced and directed by Tim Burton (Beetlejuice, Corpse Bride), based on the characters by cartoonist Charles Addams. The main cast includes Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers as Enid, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Victor Dorobantu as Thing, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, Hunter Doohan as Tyler, Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester, Joy Sunday as Bianca, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene, and Georgie Farmer as Ajax.

Season 2 also introduces Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah B. Taylor, Steve Buscemi, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo, and Anthony Michael Hall, with Christopher Lloyd and Lady Gaga. The Back to the Future vet originally portrayed Fester Addams in the original live-action movies, where he co-starred alongside Anjelica Huston and Raúl Juliá.
