A swimmer was caught masturbating on a beach before giving cops a brazen excuse for the sex act captured on police bodycam footage.

Christina Revels-Glick was caught relaxing a little too hard when she was approached by police who claimed families near Tybee Island beach in Georgia, had heard moaning coming from where she was sitting. In a green swimsuit wearing a gold cross around her neck, Revels-Glick can be seen later chatting to police in newly released arrest footage.

The 34-year-old bold beachgoer goes on deny she engaged in the intimate moment, saying she was simply laying down a towel. However she later explains to police how she was sitting, before admitting she had a sex toy and had an audible orgasm. When police ask to search her bag, she admits to using a vibrator to relax because she was "stressed", adding that it only took her 20 seconds to climax.

An officer goes go on to explain how she had broken the law and a family with children had seen her. The swimmer then breaks down as cops slap handcuffs on her before escorting her from the beach. Footage of the encounter has had more than 2.5 million views on social media since it emerged on Friday.

Sarah Moss told the Smoking Gun that beachgoers "could hear her moaning" before they called police at about 5.30pm. Moss explains how she saw her covered in a towel in front of her family's tent. Moss told police the entire incident lasted about five minutes before Revels-Glick packed her things and left for the nearby Deck Restaurant.

After being confronted by police, Revels-Glick said: "This is really highly offensive to me" before admitting defeat and saying "It is my vibrator, I was sitting on the beach and I....okay do I get a ticket?"

An officer chuckles before asking: "So you had a vibrator?" to which Revels-Glick replies: "Listen, I was sitting on the water like this,' she said while lying down to reenact the incident. I just put it in there. I was covered up and I just had an orgasm,' she said. "I am sorry. I was just stressed out."

The officer said: "I got you... hang tight for me.". Revels-Glick apologized while being booked for indecent exposure and disorderly conduct. She was released shortly after her arrest on subpoena, the police report stated.

According to Atlanta-based attorneys Conaway and Strickler, Glick could face a 12-month jail sentence for 20 seconds of self-gratification.
