Reddit sees a lot of unhinged plans to bust cheaters, but one scorned woman's predicament really sparked a slew of cheating stories - that seemed to only encourage her plans.

An unnamed woman asked for advice after she discovered her long-time boyfriend of two years was actually married and had a family. After the woman found his wife's Facebook account, she decided that she would break the news to the woman in a shocking way. She wanted to know if Reddit readers would support her showing up on a Sunday at the family's church to surprise them all and expose her boyfriend for the love rat he is.

"I've been seeing this guy, Adam, 32, for two years. He's from another town but visits me on weekends. I never met his family, friends or been to his town. I know that he works at the church and he takes pride in that," she wrote.

She explained: "3 weeks ago, I found out that he's actually married and has two kids. I was devastated and in a state of disbelief, but most of all, I was mad, especially after I confirmed this via his wife's social media account. We're still talking and I haven't broke up with him yet...I planned and decided to show myself to his family on Sunday at his church and let them know that he used me and took advantage, I plan on ending it right there and then.

"I'm currently in his town staying at a hotel. I'm doing this tomorrow and no one knows except myself. He's still texting me lies thinking that I'm stupid or ignorant. I feel terrible but something's pushing me to do this."

The woman explained to readers that she was feeling sad and angry, and though she was worried it would backfire, she thought it would be worth it. Then she asked for thoughts. And boy, did the internet deliver.

"As scummy as that is, it is pretty remarkable that he got away with it for so long. I can’t even take a s**t without my wife and kids hunting me down," wrote one Redditor.

"My mom had a boyfriend for 11 years. One day she found he had a girlfriend and a 5 year old child. Apparently all her friends knew but didn't tell her," spilled another user.

"This happened to a friend of mine. Married for 10 years. She was MADLY in love with her husband. He had a whole other family with kids behind her back and people knew it but never told her. It destroyed her self worth. Years later, her son committed suicide. She is one of the most pure hearted and beautiful people I’ve ever met in my life. It’s a tragedy how difficult her life has been," wrote someone else.

"Make sure you have evidence of your relationship on your phone. His wife is going to think you’re insane. Photos or texts or anything that can’t be forged should be shown first," wrote another user, ignoring many others' pleas to leave the kids out of it.

As more users poured their hearts and personal lives out, many others wondered how anyone has the time to keep up multiple hidden relationships. "How do people have the energy? I can barely take care of myself and my spider plant," one user joked. They got a significant amount of upvotes.
