Varanasi. writer Shrinath Khandelwal passed away: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Varanasi. Famous writer Shrinath Khandelwal breathed his last in an old age home. Khandelwal also has a family but no one came during his last moments, son is a businessman and daughter is a lawyer. Despite having assets worth crores, Shrinath Khandelwal breathed his last in an old age home. He has written hundreds of books.

Shrinath Khandelwal (writer Shrinath Khandelwal passed away) has a big family. He has two sons and a daughter. One of his sons is a businessman and his daughter is a lawyer in the Supreme Court. It is said that his children snatched away his property worth crores and left him on the road when he fell ill. After this, social worker Aman came forward and admitted him to Kashi Leprosy Old Age Home.

He stayed in the old age home for about ten months and was provided free services but no one from the family visited even once. No one from his family came to inquire about his health. Owner of crores and had announced to give Padmashree award for 2023 but Srinath Khandelwal had refused to accept the award.

He had said that he should not go to get any award. His Guru had said that if someone comes home and gives it, then it should be taken but it is not appropriate to go to someone and take it. When Padmashree was announced, Shrinath ji became a topic of discussion. After his death in an old age home, no relative came forward. His children also flatly refused to come. Ultimately, social worker Aman collected donations and performed the last rites.

Varanasi writer Shrinath Khandelwal passed away on Saturday. He breathed his last at the age of 80. Srinath Khandelwal wrote and translated about 400 books and had assets worth Rs 80 crore. Stayed in the old age home of Kashikushtha Seva Sangh in Sarnath for a long time. Even after his death his children did not come for the last rites.
