The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president of Andhra Pradesh State, Palla Srinivasa Rao, commended Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday for his efforts in securing Rs. 11,400 crore from the center during the Vajpayee administration for the construction of the steel factory. According to him, without Babu’s efforts, the steel factory would have shut down. He underlined that residents and staff must overlook the four-and-a-half-year battle that went into getting such a large sum of funds from the center, which is no little accomplishment.
YCP is spreading false information on the planned privatization of the Visakhapatnam steel factory, which has angered Mr. Palla Srinivasa Rao. In addition, he commended the TDP’s membership drive, saying that the party’s membership had surpassed one crore for the first time ever, mostly as a result of the efficient use of technology. He said that the procedure took just 15 seconds to finish, and he gave praise to Chandrababu Naidu, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, and youthful leaders Nara Lokesh for their effective integration of technology into the process.
Mr. Palla Srinivasa Rao proposed increasing the operating capacity of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant to 99% for a two-year term in order to address the plant’s future. After attaining such efficiency, he thought the facility could be able to unite with the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). In order to further boost the steel plant’s efficiency and production, he said, the government needs to look at giving it its own mines. He also emphasized how the problem of displaced people who battled for the steel mill should be taken into account.
