Entry with mobile will not be allowed at the time of Bhasma Aarti in the world famous Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple of Ujjain. This decision has been taken by the temple administrator. The temple administration had to take this decision after continuously making videos and reels on mobile in the temple premises. This rule has been implemented from Bhasma Aarti on Thursday morning. The mobile phones of all the devotees will have to be deposited with the security guard and the temple committee, only after that the devotees will be able to watch the Bhasma Aarti of Baba Mahakal.

Shri Mahakaleshwar Management Committee had always appealed to the devotees not to make reels in the temple. Despite this, the devotees did not stop making reels at this religious place. Finally, Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Administrator Anukul Jain has issued an instruction banning entry with mobile phones. Now from Thursday 23 January 2025, any devotee attending Bhasma Aarti will not be allowed to enter the temple with mobile.

ban due to reel

Devotees who come to visit the world famous Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple come here to have darshan of Kaal Baba Mahakal, but some devotees do not desist from making reels in the temple premises and Mahakal Lok. The reels made by these devotees were explained several times by the security guards. But still the devotees did not stop making reels. This is the reason why now devotees have been completely banned from carrying mobile phones during the Bhasma Aarti of Baba Mahakal to be held at 4 am in the morning.

Mobile phones will have to be deposited at security guards

The temple administration said that this system will be implemented from Thursday. After checking the permission for Bhasma Aarti in the morning in the temple, the mobiles of all the devotees will have to be deposited with the security guard and the temple committee, only after that the devotees will be able to see the Bhasma Aarti of Baba Mahakal. Most of the devotees who participate in Bhasma Aarti in Mahakaleshwar temple are from other states and cities, who get their permission for Bhasma Aarti checked on mobile only.

Devotees used to enter Nandi Hall and Barricade during Bhasma Aarti by showing permission on mobile, but now devotees will definitely face the problem that they will have to enter by showing permission first. After that, as per the decision of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Administrator Anukul Jain, this mobile will have to be deposited at the check point.

Priests' mobile phones may also be banned

It is said that apart from the devotees in Mahakaleshwar temple, there are also some priests who make the reels of every adornment from the Bhasma Aarti of Baba Mahakal held in the sanctum sanctorum viral on social media. The administrator of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple has banned the devotees from carrying mobile phones, but the Shri Mahakaleshwar Management Committee may soon take a decision on the reel made by the priest.
