After a lady in Noida reported that she used Swiggy to buy vegetarian biryani during Navratra but received a non-vegetarian dish instead, the business owner was arrested. The lady, Chhaya Sharma, claimed that the non-vegetarian biryani was served to her on purpose in a video that she posted on social media. In the video, she spoke about her experience and broke down.

The eatery, Lucknowi Kabab Parantha, is located in Sector 2 in Greater Noida, next to the Amrapali complex.

Sharma emotionally said in her video that she used Swiggy to buy a vegetarian biryani from the Lucknowi Kabab Paratha restaurant in Sector 2 (Bisrakh). She didn’t understand she was eating non-vegetarian biryani until she took a few nibbles of her meal.

“I am a pure vegetarian woman, and they have sent me this non-vegetarian biryani during Navaratri,” she stated, claiming to have received the non-vegetarian dish during the holiday.

The video went viral on the internet. According to Chhaya, the non-vegetarian biryani was provided to her on purpose. Chhaya said, “This is deliberate. Whoever did this did it on purpose. When I requested vegetarian biryani, how could they deliver me non-vegetarian food?

The video received a lot of attention after being posted on social media, and some people were incensed.

The restaurant owner was taken into custody by Noida Police after they saw the footage. However, numerous people on social media also questioned the restaurant owner’s detention over a likely error.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Noida announced the restaurant owner’s arrest. He said that an interrogation will take place via a video upload on X. Additional research would then be conducted.

It is now unclear whether the non-vegetarian biryani was served accidentally or on purpose.
