Moises Caicedo will be free of the suspension tightrope he has been walking if the midfielder avoids a yellow card in the Premier League clash with Ipswich this Sunday.
The Blues are unbeaten in their last three games while also having one foot in the Conference League semi-finals after beating Legia Warsaw 3-0 in Poland earlier this week. That European triumph followed a win over Tottenham and goalless draw against Brentford which put fourth in the table.
Victories for Manchester City and Aston Villa however, has seen them fall back to sixth but they can go within one point of third-placed Nottingham Forest, after their defeat to Everton, by beating Ipswich at Stamford Bridge.

If Enzo Maresca's side want to win, Caicedo will be needed at his best with that likely to be the case after his rest earlier in the week.
Since picking up his ninth caution of the league season during the 1-0 win against Southampton back in late February, he has gone four games without a yellow while also conceding just one foul.
"No, no, no," . "I know that they said this to me, but at this moment for us, it's about winning games.
"We need to win games, so we cannot plan giving Moises a rest thinking that he can play Arsenal. We need to win against Leicester and then we need to focus on how we can beat Arsenal. It's just game by game and we need our best players on the pitch."
Had a tenth booking been shown his way in any of those games, a two-match ban would have followed but that huge suspension worry will soon be no longer.
Given the importance of the Blues qualifying for the Champions League, Caicedo being available for all of those games, barring injury, would be a huge boost to Maresca.
