Petrol in Delhi ₹ 94.77 and diesel ₹ 87.67 per liter


In the national capital New Delhi, the price of petrol is ₹ 94.77 per liter and diesel is ₹ 87.67 per liter. No major change has been seen in fuel prices in Delhi for the last several months. The government has given relief to the common people by keeping the tax rates stable.


Petrol in Mumbai ₹ 103.50, diesel ₹ 90.03 per liter


In Mumbai, the price of petrol has been recorded at ₹103.50 per liter and the price of diesel has been recorded at ₹90.03 per liter. It is one of the most expensive cities in the country where petrol prices remain high due to high taxes and transport costs.


What is the price in Chennai and Kolkata


In Chennai, petrol is being sold at ₹ 100.90 and diesel at ₹ 92.49 per liter. Whereas in Kolkata, petrol remains at ₹ 105.41 and diesel at ₹ 92.02 per liter. There is no change in prices today in both these metro cities.

Prices have remained almost stable in all these cities, which is a news of relief for the general public.


LPG gas cylinder prices also stable


There is no change in the prices of domestic cooking gas (LPG) at present. The average price of 14.2 kg domestic cylinder remains ₹852.50. There has been no new increase in rates since the ₹50 hike in April 2025.

Why are fuel prices stable?


Fuel prices depend on the international crude oil market, value of the rupee and the tax structure of the government. At present, oil prices are stable in the international market, due to which there has been no major change in the prices of petrol and diesel in India.
