Uttarakhand Snowfall Update: Despite continuous heavy snowfall in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, preparations for Kedarnath Dham Yatra are continuing with full enthusiasm. Even amidst difficult weather and thick layer of snow, the administration has not allowed the pace of work to slow down. Food items, construction materials and other essential resources are being continuously supplied to the Dham through horses and mules. Due to the hard work of workers and animal drivers, essential goods are being transported to the height every day so that there is no hindrance in the preparations.

District Magistrate Vishal Mishra himself is continuously monitoring the preparations. He is holding regular review meetings with officials of various departments and giving directions as per the situation. The main focus of the administration is on making the travel routes safe, improving the accommodation system, strengthening health services and improving security arrangements. Officials say that the weather is definitely challenging but every possible effort is being made to make the journey successful and safe.

Fast work on routes and facilities

Snow removal work is going on at a fast pace on the Kedarnath Yatra route. Along with this, the rocky and slippery roads are being repaired so that the devotees do not face any kind of problem. Tent and hotel arrangements are also being finalized. The Health Department has planned to start medical posts and emergency services at the Dham and on the way, so that any emergency can be dealt with immediately.

Security and convenience of devotees is priority

Police and SDRF teams are continuously deployed to strengthen the security arrangements. District Magistrate Vishal Mishra said that no matter how adverse the weather is, the priority of the administration is to provide safe and convenient travel to the devotees. He expressed confidence that despite snowfall, all the arrangements will be completed by the scheduled time and the yatra will start smoothly.
