The effect of heat is not limited only to the strong sunlight of the day, but its effect can persist on the body even at night. Many times, due to high night temperature and increase in humidity, the body does not get adequate cooling, due to which there is a risk of heat stroke. When there is no relief at night even after the heat of the day, the body faces difficulty in returning to normal temperature.
Rising temperatures in cities, concrete buildings and decreasing greenery also increase the heat at night. In such a situation, people may consider it safe at night, but continuously living in a hot environment puts pressure on the body. Many times people ignore the heat even while sleeping, which can increase the problem in the future. Therefore it is important to understand that heat stroke The danger is not limited to the day only, but its effect can persist even at night.
The risk of heat stroke increases at night because the body does not get enough time to cool down. When the temperature does not reduce even after the heat of the day, the body remains in a constantly hot environment. When there is high humidity, sweat does not dry properly, which makes it difficult to control body temperature.
Apart from this, sleeping in closed rooms or places without ventilation can also increase the heat. Many times people drink less water, due to which the risk of dehydration increases. All these reasons together increase the chances of heat stroke even at night.
Some people are more affected by the heat at night. Especially the elderly, small children and pregnant women are more sensitive, because their body is not able to control the temperature quickly.
Apart from this, people who are already ill or whose immunity is weak are also at greater risk. This risk may increase further in people who live in small, closed or without ventilation rooms.
Keep the room cool and ventilated to avoid heat stroke at night. Keep drinking water before and between bedtime, so that the body remains hydrated. Wear light and loose clothes, so that the body can stay cool. If possible, use a fan or cooler. If you feel excessive heat, take immediate action and try to keep the body cool.
