Janaki Mehta shared her experience through an Instagram post. According to him, it was not easy for him to take this decision. He wrote, ‘I donated milk for the first time and handed over 90 packets of stored breast milk to the bank. I had no idea that this moment would make me so emotional. Throughout the day I felt overwhelmed again and again and kept crying.

Janaki further told in her post that after the birth of daughter Rumi, she started storing milk continuously. Sometimes tired, sometimes half asleep, and sometimes regardless of the pain, she continued pumping milk every day. She wrote, ‘Many times I felt that it would not be possible again, but then I would convince myself just one more time. According to him, every packet was not just milk but his hard work, mother’s love and many months of physical pain were hidden in it.

Janaki told that at present her daughter is now 9 months old and she has started eating solid food well. In such a situation, they felt that now this milk should reach those children.
