Jharkhand Government:Jharkhand government is giving a golden opportunity to the meritorious students of the state to get higher education abroad. Under “Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Transnational Scholarship Scheme”, students will be given full financial assistance to study in prestigious universities of United Kingdom (UK). This scheme was started in the year 2020 and till now many students have taken advantage of it.

50 students will get 100 percent scholarship

Under this scheme, a total of 50 students will be selected for the year 2026. Selected students will be provided 100 percent scholarship for Masters studies in the UK. The special thing is that 30 percent reservation in total seats has been kept for girl students, so that more and more daughters can also take advantage of this opportunity.

Last date of application

The last date to apply for this scholarship scheme has been set as 20 June 2026. Interested and eligible students can apply on time.

How many students from which category will be selected?

Under the scheme, seats have been earmarked for different categories of students.

What expenses will the government bear?

The state government will bear almost the entire expense to the education of the selected students. This includes tuition fees, annual allowance, incidental expenses, visa fees, air travel expenses and health insurance premium. This will not put any financial burden on the students and their families.

Required eligibility for application

Only students who are permanent residents of Jharkhand will get the benefit of this scheme. The applicant must have at least 55 percent marks in graduation, master or MPhil. Apart from this, the annual income of the student and his family should not exceed Rs 12 lakh.

Students selected under the scheme will get the opportunity to study in many world famous institutions of UK. These include prestigious institutions like Oxford University, Cambridge University, Imperial College London, University College London and London School of Economics. This scheme is providing an excellent opportunity to the youth of Jharkhand to progress at the global level.
