Manchester City is set to kick off its pre-season tour in Asia on August 1 against Inter Milan in Hong Kong. The 28-man squad will then travel to Seoul to face the K League All-Stars XI on August 5 and Atletico Madrid four days later.
The eight-time Premier League champion will then return to the United Kingdom to take on Arsenal in the Community Shield match at the Principality Stadium in Wales on August 16.
New head coach Enzo Maresca, who replaced Pep Guardiola, will be looking to get his team right ahead of its Premier League opener against Bournemouth on August 23.

Why was Jack Grealish not included?
Jack Grealish was not named in the travelling squad, with media reports stating that this was a sign of him being not part of Maresca’s plans for the upcoming season.
However, the 30-year-old responded to the claims, revealing that he is recovering from a foot injury which ended his previous season.
“Just to let you know I’m still recovering from an injury so I’m not training yet,” he wrote in the comments of a subsequently deleted Instagram post on Thursday.
“Haven’t been ‘left out’ so stop talking poo poo thanks,” he added.
Grealish was part of City’s treble-winning side of 2022-23, but gradually fell out of favour with former boss Pep Guardiola amid reports about his off-field behaviour before spending last season on loan with Everton.
He is in the final season of his City contract, and Maresca said, “At the moment, he is here. I have had a good relationship with Jack since I left. Also, we keep in touch, and the reason why is because he has a big heart and he is a very good guy.”
