Market eyes Fed Chairman's speech
The bullion market is now focused on the speech by Kevin Warsh, a member of the US Federal Reserve Board (often referred to in the context of Fed leadership), scheduled for August 28 at Jackson Hole. This could provide some indications regarding the Fed's monetary policy. Analysts say that the Fed's policy concerning inflation and interest rates will first impact the dollar and bond yields, and subsequently affect the prices of gold and silver.
