Vivo V80 — Smartphone manufacturer Vivo has officially announced the arrival of its popular V-series new handset Vivo V80 in India. Along with releasing its teaser on social media platforms, the company has also made the landing page live on its official Indian website with the tag 'coming soon'. According to the information revealed, this photography-focused smartphone can be officially launched in the first week of October.

In the teaser, Vivo V80 is seen in an attractive orange color variant, which follows the well-known design language of the V-series. A triple rear camera setup with LED flash can be seen on its rear panel, which is confirmed to have Zeiss branding. The company has introduced it as 'Creative Partner' in the teaser, which clearly indicates that it is camera-oriented.

According to leaks and reports, Vivo V80 may see several major hardware upgrades:

• Battery: A large battery of 7,200mAh can be provided in the phone.


• Operating System: This device can run on OriginOS 7 based on Android 17.


• Camera Setup: It is expected to get a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom support.

Vivo V70 will have a successor

This new smartphone will replace Vivo V70, which was launched in February this year at a starting price of Rs 49,999. The main specifications of the old model Vivo V70 are as follows:
