India’s men’s and women’s badminton team-event draws were announced on Saturday, September 19. Both team competitions will be played in a straight knockout format. The Indian women’s team will begin its campaign against Kazakhstan on Sunday, September 20, while the men’s team, which won the silver medal at the previous edition, will face Bangladesh on Monday, September 21.

A victory in either tie could set up a quarterfinal against Japan, which has received a bye in the opening round.
