IND vs WI 3rd ODI :The third and last match of the three-match ODI series played between India and West Indies was played on 3 October at the PCA International Stadium, New Chandigarh. In this match, West Indies defeated India by 5 wickets and ended the series with 1-2. Let us tell you that India had won the series by winning the first two matches, but in the third match, West Indies made a spectacular comeback and ruined India's intention of making a clean sweep.

West Indies, which set out to chase the target of 352 runs, also did not have a good start. John Campbell was bowled by Mohammad Siraj after scoring 10 runs. After this captain Shay Hope took over the innings. Hope formed an important partnership with Amir Zangu. Jangu scored 67 runs in 56 balls, but was run out and returned to the pavilion. After this, Keemo Paul maintained the team's run pace by scoring 44 runs in 35 balls. Sherfane Rutherford scored 24 runs. Whereas Gudakesh Moti contributed 19 unbeaten runs. At the other end, Shay Hope continued scoring runs. He scored unbeaten 162 runs in 143 balls. In his innings, Hope hit 17 fours and 3 sixes. Thanks to his brilliant batting, West Indies scored 352 runs losing 5 wickets in 48.2 overs.
With this win, West Indies recorded their biggest successful run chase of a target of 350 or more in ODI cricket. From India, Mohammad Siraj, Gurnoor Brar, Kuldeep Yadav and Namandhir got one wicket each. India won the series 2-1, but West Indies' victory in the last match increased the excitement of the series.
