Busted News Bureau Maharajganj :: Samajwadi Party leaders and workers demonstrated strongly against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar at Saxena intersection located at the district headquarters on Thursday. During this, the workers protested by raising slogans and burnt the effigy of the Chief Election Commissioner.

During the protest, SP workers raised slogans like “Gyanesh Kumar Murdabad” and “Vote Chor, Gaddi Chor”. SP leader Amit Choubey, who is leading the protest, said that the Samajwadi Party will continue to raise its voice on issues to the election process and voters' rights.

SP leaders and workers gathered at Saxena intersection also raised slogans against the government and the Election Commission. In view of the demonstration, police force remained deployed at the spot. The protesters raised the demand for ensuring fair elections and security of voting rights in a democratic system.

On this occasion, a large number of SP leaders and workers including Samajwadi Lohia Vahini District President Sanjay Kanojia were present.
