Poultry industry supporting 5-6 million livelihoods

The poultry industry is a major contributor to the country’s agricultural economy and is estimated to support 5 to 6 million livelihoods.

According to government data, India produced 142.77 billion eggs in 2023–24, retaining its position as the world’s second-largest egg producer.

With demand for poultry products continuing to grow, producers are increasingly looking at ways to improve productivity.

The Hyderabad exhibition will provide an opportunity for businesses to assess new equipment, meet domestic and overseas suppliers and explore commercial partnerships.

The exhibition is expected to help poultry farmers, entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises to expand operations or invest in new equipment.

The expo will be open to visitors from 10 am to 6 pm. For more details, one can visit the Poultry India website .
