Jay Shah does not get a single rupee as salary for the post of ICC Chairman. The post of Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) is honorary, which means that it is a respectable post for which no salary or allowance is given.



Jay Shah was recently made the new Chairman of the ICC, who reached this position after the tenure of Greg Barclay. However, he was already working as the Secretary of BCCI and his responsibilities and influence in that role are already considered tremendous.

Jay Shah was born on 22 September 1988 in Gujarat, India. He is the son of the country's Home Minister Amit Shah and Sonal Shah. Jay Shah completed his early education in Gujarat itself. After this, he obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree from Nirma University, Ahmedabad.
