The CBSE board has not yet announced the date of the results of classes 10th and 12th, but it is expected that the results can be released by the second week of May. But before that, the board has taken a big decision.

The results of class 10th and 12th will be released very soon by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Lakhs of students are waiting for the results. The wait of these students can end anytime now. But the board has taken a big decision before the date of releasing the result. Let's know what is that decision...

Actually, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made a big change in the re-evaluation process after the 10th and 12th board examinations. This change has been made with the aim of giving more transparency and self-reliance to the students. Now students will first be able to see the photocopy of their checked answer sheets and only after that they will be able to apply for verification of marks or re-evaluation.

What is the new process?

Under the new system, students will first receive photocopies of their evaluated answer sheets from CBSE. After this, they will be able to see how many marks have been received for which answer and how much deduction has been made in which question. This transparency will help them decide whether to apply for verification of marks or re-evaluation or not.

The new process will have three main steps

Get photocopy of answer sheet.

Get verification of marks (if there is a mistake in adding or entering marks).

Apply for re-evaluation (if there is doubt on the evaluation of answers).

How was the process done earlier?

Earlier, students had to first apply for verification of marks. After that they could get photocopies and then in the last step the process of re-evaluation started. But now it has been changed so that students can understand in advance why and how they have got the marks. CBSE says that this change has been made to give more clarity to the students and reduce the confusion related to evaluation. This will help the students to take the right decision of re-evaluation.
