Netflix Down: Server stalled in the morning, flood of mimes on social media
Netflix Tech News: �On the morning of 30 May 2025, thousands of users faced problems in streaming due to the sudden downs of Netflix in the US. There was a flood of reports on Downdetector, according to which, more than 70,000 users reported that they were getting an error messages like “this title is not available to watch instantly” around 9:30 PM ET (Sabuh in India). Netflix accepted the problem on its status page and stated that some titles could be temporarily unavailable.
As soon as this outage surfaced, users on the social media platform X (East Twitter) started sharing their disappointment and frustration through mimes and jokes. #Netflixdown began to trend the hashtag and users shared their experience in a humorous manner.
Netflix’s service has now become normal, but this outage has made it clear how much our dependence on digital service has increased. Users tried to reduce their disappointment by sharing this problem through mimes and jokes. However, it is rare that the Netflix is completely down. Earlier on April 25, the outage report was reported, which remained for a few minutes.
